We contacted N. Huckins Construction about enclosing our backyard porch and were so pleased with the attention to detail that he showed on that project, we knew he was the one to remodel our master bathroom. He was very easy to work with and was very helpful as we finalized our plans. I was very picky with the details and realized he has an artful attention to the details too. We have been SO pleased with every aspect of our project from the initial consultation, the deconstruction and installation, and especially how meticulous he was about cleaning up each and every day. We highly recommend Nathaniel’s work, and not only do we have a beautiful new master bathroom, but we had a wonderful experience working with “Huck”.

Huck can do anything
Taking great care in cleaning up after each day’s work was such a surprise to us and much appreciated. His honesty, communication, and hard work was the best we have ever encountered. Because he did such a great job on the bathroom, we hired him again to solve some roof problems on a storage building and on the house. Huck can do anything, and we recommend him to anyone that wants a high quality job done.

Huck never skipped a beat
I hired this contractor/construction company for an extensive remodel (5 rooms) on a home we purchased in Biloxi. Huck has a solid work ethic, impeccable attention to detail, and he personally follows through/up on his crew’s work. In any remodel there are glitches/unknowns, Huck never skipped a beat in providing solutions to unique problems, and solutions are critical in a remodel. Additionally, Huck often makes suggestions and steers you to improvements to your original remodel plan that you hadn’t even thought of! And all with your budget in mind. I can honestly say you can’t go wrong with this company and I won’t hesitate to hire again for any future projects or recommend him to family/friends.

We are very pleased with the outcome of our project
We wanted to remove some of the worn and dated builder-basic details and increase the luxury factor in our master bathroom. We hired Nathaniel because he seemed more knowledgeable, proficient, articulate and clean-cut than other “professionals” we have worked with on the Gulf Coast. He proved himself to be all of that and more. He was patient with us as we took our time picking out the right tile for our project. He was good about communicating with us what to expect throughout the process of our project. He was dependable, friendly and easy to work with. We felt we could trust him and his crew in our home.
He completed the job within the expected time frame. The tile work on our shower, tub backsplash and floor turned out beautifully. Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome of our project, and we would definitely recommend his work. Our bathroom is updated, yet maintains the warm, traditional style consistent with the rest of our house. It now has the “wow” factor we were hoping for.

It truly does look like a magazine kitchen
When my husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen, I had no idea how much time, effort, thought, and decision making I had in store for me. A woman’s kitchen is her EVERYTHING! That’s where memories are made, our children’s favorite meals are cooked, and a ton of conversations with family and friends are held. I never thought that the excitement of having a brand new kitchen would turn into a nightmare due to not being able to finalize it with back splash… Either I would find something I liked and it wasn’t available, or I just simply could not find what I wanted… I felt like I was having to settle on just anything so I could finally be done until we met Huck.
He came in and got right in my mind. He knew what I wanted and how I wanted it. He became my miracle! Even showed me more than I could have ever imagined I wanted! He has given us the most beautiful kitchen we have ever had. The compliments from our family and friends are endless. It truly does look like a magazine kitchen. One that if I had seen in a picture, I would’ve definitely picked out. He did an outstanding job. We are so happy we met Huck and could not be more pleased with what he has given us. Not to mention his patience, professionalism and promptness. We will definitely refer him to any one we know. Thank you so much again Huck!

Very pleased with their work!!
My shower was broken and I called N. Huckins Construction to fix it. In the end, he had to gut out the entire shower and actually built a completely new shower. And it looks absolutely fantastic! He also put tile around the bath tub and replaced the floor tile. He was very detailed and each day left the room very clean, so clean I had to ask myself if anyone had even been there. He made the selecting of the tile effortless because he had great ideas. They were extremely knowledgeable. Very pleased with their work!!

Even cleaned frig out when we were traveling
Dream bedroom remodel, did all tile and marble work, built all cabinets for walk in closet, cleaned daily, even cleaned frig out when we were traveling. Found and corrected construction defects of first builder and subsequent sub-contractors, excellent work, easy to work with, high skill level; he will do all future upgrades.

I am so impressed with the entire process
Huck remodeled our older bathroom, from the floor up. We were new to the area, and found him though the company website. I am so impressed with the entire process; from the initial meeting, contracting, and professional work. He explained every step of the remodel, from the surprise rotten flooring through planning the no-curb shower, allowing us to age in place (just in case of mobility issues). He showed us why to use certain products, and helped pick out the tile. The glass shower and flooring are beautiful, and I still love walking into this room!

I have always found their work to be excellent
N Huckins has done multiple projects for me; three major renovations and multiple small projects. They closed in my garage and converted it to a mother-in-law suite with a handicap accessible bathroom in 2012. I had them remodel an office suite for me in 2016. Our most recent experience was completed in December 2018. They remodeled my kitchen and master bathroom, scraped down my popcorn ceilings, replaced flooring and painted 3/4 of my house. I have always found their work to be excellent. They are respectful of my property, dependable and easy to work with.

Working with Nathaniel has truly been a pleasure
I asked a former client of Nathaniel’s about her kitchen renovation and from there I checked out his Facebook page and website. I liked what I saw and the confidence of his past client so I called him to talk about what I wanted done to my kitchen. Nathaniel was very prompt to meet with me and talk about my kitchen. I felt very confident after this initial meeting and decided, right then, that I wanted him to do my kitchen remodel.
Nathaniel has an eye for detail. There were two very specific times that the choices I was making were clearly the wrong ones and he was able to show me better choices that would work better and why. He also has an amazing and respectful crew, who made it as easy as possible, to live in a space during the renovation.
I am completely satisfied and happy with my new kitchen. Working with Nathaniel has truly been a pleasure.

They kept me within my budget
N. Huckins Construction has completed 2 bathroom projects for me. The work was excellent. I had a construction budget and they were very cost conscious and kept me within my budget. They compared prices and explained the products and quality prior to purchasing and installing the items in my home. They also added vinyl siding to my home in a different project. I will definitely use them for future projects.

I received some quotes from N Huckins Construction on a couple projects involving my new home construction. He was VERY thorough and brought several samples of state of the art materials. I was pleased to see someone looking at new technology and explaining the pros and cons to me about it. Due to a family crisis, my budget demanded I do a lot of the work myself. Huck explained several things to me in detail that allowed me to complete the job. I highly recommend him for your project. It will be done on time and in the best quality available. I will be using Mr. Huckins in the future, and am very grateful for his understanding and integrity during my hardships.

From the moment I met Nathaniel, I knew he would do a professional job. I was very impressed with his response to my inquiry about the [kitchen remodeling] project. He was very honest about how the work would be performed and it didn’t take me long to choose him as my contractor. I couldn’t believe how quickly he worked and how thorough he was with completing the project…he even worked during the holidays!
